You can take a guided tour through our working winery (where you may see our winemakers in action) and New Zealand's first wine museum, and then enjoy a tasting of our wines.
Winery and museum tours include a tasting and costs $15 per person. Tours take place daily at 11am and 2pm (please wear covered footwear).
Our wine museum is housed underground in old concrete wine vats whose adjoining walls have been opened up. The walls are encrusted with sparkling, gem-like tartrate crystals, formed from the tartaric acid in the wine once stored here. The oldest winemaking relics in the country lie entombed here, some dating back 3000 years.
